Stretching from the Public Garden to Massachusetts Avenue, this one of a kind tree-lined park typifies what the Back Bay is all about: One beautiful home after another set on a mile-long stretch of green, yet only steps away from the finest shopping and dining in the world. The “Mall” runs between north and southbound Commonwealth Avenue and is decorated with one inspiring sculpture after another. The toughest decision can be which part to stroll down: the sidewalk, which provides a close-up look at the historic architecture, or the Mall, which provides a nice view of the city’s skyline through the park.
