Copley Square
Named after artist John Singleton Copley, it is fitting that this square is a work of art itself. Located in the heart of the Back Bay, it is almost impossible to miss. Blessed with the awe-inspiring Trinity Church as its backdrop, (Self-guided tours are offered Mon-Sat 9-5pm), look closely and you’ll find it has what every park needs: a beautiful fountain, sculptures that are both historic and contemporary, and quaint spaces for people watching. A great spot to hangout and read, since the Boston Public Library is also located here. This library was the first publicly supported library in the United States.
