The Mary Baker Eddy Library: Summer Enrichment Program for Children

“One World,” The Mary Baker Eddy Library’s free summer enrichment program for children will take place from July 6 – August 10. The goal is to bring arts and culture alive for Boston’s kids aged 4-10, particularly to those who might not experience it elsewhere.

Every Tuesday morning, from 10 a.m.-noon, “One World” features a different craft activity and musical performance. These multicultural performances include everything from African, Haitian, and Brazilian rhythm performers like Zili Misik, to hip hop dancers such as Amal Shumar. Craft activities are designed to connect children to the Library’s historical collections. The two-hour program rounds out with trivia activities and book giveaways, encouraging kids to keep reading throughout the summer.

Space is limited to 150 participants per week, so parents or groups should register early at www.mbelibrary.org/one-world-registration. You can also view the performer schedule online.
